Registration Information Current Season

You do not need a login and password to register for league curling!  Please read the following information below, and then proceed by clicking the "Proceed to Registration" button at the bottom of this page.

PLEASE READ COMPLETELY before registering.  There is important information below:

Only a NEW Registration should be entered using this screen!  If you are making a CHANGE to an already submitted registration, instead, visit the MEMBERS area (the login and password were sent to you in your original registration email) and make these changes yourself.  Changes to existing registrations can be made until October 1, 2010.  Changes to a registration AFTER that date should be made by contacting the club manager directly.

After registering, you can also create a "curling profile", set your e-mail preferences, sign up and set your substitute player availability, and even upload a photo of yourself.  This can only be done AFTER you have registered.  Click the MEMBERS menu, then Update Registration / Profile.

Before registering, please consider visiting the following links first which will provide valuable information about your registration decisions:

  • Leagues - Description of each of the leagues
  • Dues - Schedule of Dues Calculations.  Dues are calculated when you fill in the registration form.
  • Calendar - Club Calendar
  • Members looking for Team-mates - Need people for your team?  Find them here!
  • Grandfather Rules - Determine what you need to do to retain your last year's curling spot.
  • Prior Year Member Listing - Check out which leagues our members curled in LAST year to find team-mates for this year (special spcc login and password required.  Send me an email if you need this)

Please read this over FIRST before clicking the link below:

  1. Looking for members for an incomplete team?  Check this out FIRST and try to locate players that are ALSO looking for team-mates that have already registered for this curling year.  Contact them PRIOR to registering to see if they would like to curl with you.  Also, consider posting a message to our email list "SPCURL" letting people know you are either available, or looking for a player.

  2. Research and contact your team-mates before registering.  A complete list of last year's players is available here and on the registration page itself for accurate spelling.

  3. If you are registering for the Women's CAIRN'S LASSIE league, played on Tuesday's at 10am, select the "PLACE ME ON A TEAM" when prompted for your "Team Info".

  4. Enter in your personal information, league selection, team-mates. etc on the first screen and press the PREVIEW REGISTRATION button.  Note:  Some browsers will BLOCK the 'help' () and 'Last Years Player List'.  If when you click these links, nothing happens, try pressing your CTRL key at the same time as clicking such a link.

  5. Once you have completed your registration, press the SUBMIT REGISTRATION at the bottom of the form.  Your entries will be validated.  If there are errors, the form will re-display, and some nasty red error messages will be displayed in red.  Fix the errors, and press SUBMIT again.

  6. You will receive a screen confirming your registration.  You will also receive an automated email with a link that you can VIEW your registration on-line, as well as other useful information.

  7. Each and EVERY member must fill in a registration form.  There is no such thing as "my skip is registering the team".  Every person MUST register either manually (paper form), or electronically (this website).

  8. Questions about your registration?  Enter them into the NOTES field at the bottom of the form.  Our registration process will send those notes as an email to the registration group (the Webmaster, the SPCC President, and SPCC Vice President) who will promptly attempt to answer your question or concern.

  9. IMPORTANT: Returning members wishing to switch to a NEW league, but who are concerned that such a new league might already be FULL, should sign up for their OLD league as well as the NEW league.  Be sure to put a note in the comment section clearly stating this 'grandfather clause' intention, or the registration committee will assume that you are curling in ALL leagues that you have registered for.

  10. Do NOT enter in a new registration if changes are needed.  Instead, visit the MEMBERS area (the login and password were sent to you in your original registration email) and make these changes yourself.

  11. Juniors (all leagues, Bantums, Little Rocks, etc) are very much encouraged to ALSO register on-line using this registration process so ALL members can be in a common database.  Mailings and emails can then also be sent out to you throughout the year.
